This popular long distance trail passes just a few hundred yards from the campsite. For a gentler stroll, pretty Drewsteignton village is a short walk away. Reward yourself with a well-earned pint at the Drewe Arms or continue on to Fingle Bridge, a local beauty spot, or Castle Drogo, England’s newest Castle.

Very nice site, with a small fairly well stocked shop. It is not a large site, which we prefer.

Very nice site, with a small fairly well stocked shop. It is not a large site, which we prefer. The pitches are nicely spacious, so you aren't on top of your neighbours. There are some lovely walks nearby, and Castle Drogo is not far away. The road outside is quite noisy, but it quietens down at night and the site is very close to it.

If not wanting to use your car you can catch a bus to Exeter and beyond from outside the site. Exeter is a lovely city with a magnificent cathedral and easy to walk around. It has nice walks along the river and the canal and a modern quay side with bars and restaurants. You can catch buses to Exmouth and other places on the coast. Driving in the car you can visit lots of attractions around Dartmoor National Park . Try Trago Mills if you want some retail therapy.
