Our lovely Club Site on the south Devon coast.

The South Hams offers a wonderful mix of coast, moorland and rolling hills and a range of activities to match from walking and cycling to sailing and surfing. For history lovers there are delights such as Totnes Castle and The South Devon Railway, while a range of arts and food festivals and sailing regattas will keep culture-vultures happy.

Where better to base yourself to enjoy these delights than at our lovely Dartmouth Club campsite. Aptly named as the attractive harbour town is just a five minute drive away, the site offer campers stunning sea views over Start Bay. Spacious pitches, a large camping field, family shower room and a children’s play area are among the facilities on offer.

There are beaches aplenty - Blackpool Sands is within walking distance – Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesand Beach and Hall Sands are a short drive away.

Also easily accessed are Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. At the latter cross the River Dart to the pretty village of Kingswear and hop on board the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway for a ride along the Torbay coast. While on this side of the river, Greenway is a magical place to explore. Once the holiday home of Agatha Christie it is now managed by the National Trust.

We found the park to be nice and quiet at the end of season with only a few vans on site.

We found the park to be nice and quiet at the end of season with only a few vans on site. We had distant views of the sea from our pitch. As motor homers the hourly bus service was very useful and a trip into Dartmouth took only a few minutes for essentials. Blackpool beach again only a few minutes away by bus or car or an enjoyable walk via the village. Torcross and Slapton Ley Nature reserve are well worth a visit and a lovely tea room in the former. The site and service block were kept immaculate by the friendly park staff. Our only negative comment was having to share the next shower cubicle's water run off. We took to showering early but still had to mop out the next empty stall when we had finished! Not very hygienic. On the whole a very nice site to visit late in the season and we will return.

This is an ideal site for visiting Dartmouth .. and surrounding area ..

This is an ideal site for visiting Dartmouth .. and surrounding area .. bus stop is at the site entrance .. it even goes all the way to Plymouth .. if you have a large camper, I would advise using the bus .. as the roads are narrow .. this could be a problem at the height of the season.

In addition to summary - Dartmouth itself is a really interesting and scenic place. Parking in Dartmouth not easy though. Coastal path was fantastic once at Slapton sands.
