    Top site for beaches

Our lovely Club Site on the south Devon coast.

The South Hams offers a wonderful mix of coast, moorland and rolling hills and a range of activities to match from walking and cycling to sailing and surfing. For history lovers there are delights such as Totnes Castle and The South Devon Railway, while a range of arts and food festivals and sailing regattas will keep culture-vultures happy.

Where better to base yourself to enjoy these delights than at our lovely Dartmouth Club campsite. Aptly named as the attractive harbour town is just a five minute drive away, the site offer campers stunning sea views over Start Bay. Spacious pitches, a large camping field and family shower room are among the facilities on offer.

There are beaches aplenty - Blackpool Sands is within walking distance – Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesand Beach and Hall Sands are a short drive away.

Also easily accessed are Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. At the latter cross the River Dart to the pretty village of Kingswear and hop on board the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway for a ride along the Torbay coast. While on this side of the river, Greenway is a magical place to explore. Once the holiday home of Agatha Christie it is now managed by the National Trust.

Nice site generally but to many rules.

This review is for Dartmouth

Nice site generally but to many rules. Greeted with a list of rules as opposed to have a great stay. This is a problem with C&CC sites generally. There are rules to look at but generally its about fun and enjoyment rather than getting bogged down if you go over a line by a few centimeters. The staff were friendly but I get the feeling that most sites are aimed at an older generation and this is reinforced with all literature from the club where there is not pictures of people with families etc.

Lovely site, enjoyed our stay, although probably won't return to this site again.

Lovely site, enjoyed our stay, although probably won't return to this site again. Not as coastal a site as we had been led to believe. No dog walk/ run as such, just a patch of grass at front of site. Need to travel by car to visit anywhere.
