Top site for beaches
Our lovely Club Site on the south Devon coast.
The South Hams offers a wonderful mix of coast, moorland and rolling hills and a range of activities to match from walking and cycling to sailing and surfing. For history lovers there are delights such as Totnes Castle and The South Devon Railway, while a range of arts and food festivals and sailing regattas will keep culture-vultures happy.
Where better to base yourself to enjoy these delights than at our lovely Dartmouth Club campsite. Aptly named as the attractive harbour town is just a five minute drive away, the site offer campers stunning sea views over Start Bay. Spacious pitches, a large camping field and family shower room are among the facilities on offer.
There are beaches aplenty - Blackpool Sands is within walking distance – Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesand Beach and Hall Sands are a short drive away.
Also easily accessed are Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. At the latter cross the River Dart to the pretty village of Kingswear and hop on board the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway for a ride along the Torbay coast. While on this side of the river, Greenway is a magical place to explore. Once the holiday home of Agatha Christie it is now managed by the National Trust.
Please be advised that the play area is out of action until further notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Tent campers not requiring electric, please book direct with the site, please note this pitch type is only available in July and August.

The South Devon coastal area is of exception beauty
and is a must for all visitors to experience.
Dartmouth itself, as well as being a historic coastal
town is ideally situated with easy access to all areas of interest.
The campsite is within easy waking distance (1.5 mile) from
the entrance to the river Dart. Which itself leads to exceptional coastal walks,
a must for all walkers of all capabilities..
well worth the experience

we spent a day just chilling by our camper on Easter Monday and the site manager very kindly delayed the grass cutting at our end until next day when we went out for the day. Site very well kept and children deterred from ballgames which makes for a nice peaceful break.
We took a lovely walk all along the coast to Dartmouth harbour which turned out to be 11k with some strenuous uphill climbs.... The view was spectacular though, a passing local told us that the coastal walk had recently won an award for its beauty.... We can well believe it!
There were buses which stopped directly outside the campsite so the hiking was not mandatory in both directions.
A day trip to Canonteign Falls was nice and a chance to see England's highest waterfall...... About 30 miles from the campsite.
We would love to return later in the year but saying that we have had absolutely fantastic weather this week in early April.??????

For the price we paid, approximately 105 for 3 nights,2 adults 2 children and electric, I felt a bit ripped off really. The play park was shut, the shop was barely a shop, some of the reception staff were abrupt, the pub next door was shut down, all in all I've had much better for much less. You can't charge extra just because you can see the sea...just.
Not for me thanks.
