Also service pitches with electric, fresh water & grey waste for extra luxury. We also have the Sail Loft 3-bedroom newly renovated holiday let (sleeps 6). On-site facilities include a toilet / shower block, pot wash and laundry-room. Play area for smaller children, table tennis and a small park shop serving fresh coffee and local ice-creams. We rang for availability only the day before we arrived, so they invited us to come and check the pitch before committing. The hillside location overlooking the Dart means that some pitches are not perfectly level, but that is not a problem and more than compensated for by the wonderful views. We were welcomed on arrival and taken to our pitch. The member of staff could not have been more helpful, advising us on location and giving us plenty of detail about the site and nearby walks for the dog. We had been advised we must stay 3 nights as it was BH weekend, but that fitted our plans. Spent a wonderful day at nearby Greenways (Agatha Christie's home - National Trust) which was walkable from the site. Our second full day was a series of journeys - bus, boat and steam train to visit Kingsweare and Dartmouth. I have given the site 5 stars, which is a rare treat. We loved the location and the helpfulness. We will visit again.

Great site, had a pitch with lovely views of the Dart Estuary. Facilities were good, and we enjoyed our stay. Great location for visiting Torquay, Brixham (lovely!), and Dartmouth etc. Would stay there again if we are in the area, and would recommend it to others.

Had a wonderful weekend, warm welcome on arrival.

Had a wonderful weekend, warm welcome on arrival. Facilities spotless, downside no shelf in the shower for toiletries. We were a family group of 2 caravans and a large tent and were sited together. The high winds didn't put us off, we took our awning down as a precaution, the pup was taken down on Saturday and the guide ropes on the tent were continually being adjusted. I did feel that the warden could've been a little more helpful due to weather conditions. A tent further along the site was almost flattened & it took 6 of us struggling to keep it upright and get it secured. We had seen the owner of the tent making sure his tent was secure before he & his children left the site but the wind was just too strong. Having said that we would definitely recommend this site and we shall go back.a I appreciate that the warden is not responsible for any tents or awnings but I do think that that due to the very high wind he should have patrolled the site to ensure that all was well and if not to take appropriate action when he did eventually arrive at the collapsed tent he did not have the necessary equipment to resolve the situation .also it would have been nice if he checked on people leaving as it was very wet and slippery grass and could have done with a bit of help getting off the grass .these are minor niggles and it is a great site
