We only stayed one night as a stop over en route but would definitely return for longer. The site is on the edge of Sheffield and the peak district. The owners could not have been more helpful. Perfect place for popping into the city (regular bus service about one mile away) and exploring the peak district. There are 5 hard standing pitches with hook up. Avoid using sat nav go by the instructions in the hand book especially if towing as the sat nav took us via some very steep sharp bends which we just managed in a 21' Motorhome.

Easy to book, if travelling on the A57 the Snake Pass Google maps may tell you to turn up Lodge Lane if you are towing and have a beast of a vehicle and a tiny unit AVOID this Lane it’s too steep, instead use Coldwell Lane and turn right at the top the site is about just over a mile away on the left. There is no WC or shower so if you are staying longer than a couple of nights then you will need onboard facilities in your unit, there is fresh and waste water facilities of course, The site a little un-even but this is not a problem, great to star gaze at night lovely and quiet and dark to, There is a lane but the traffic is minimal. Loads to do in the area walking, cross bike and cycling, Sheffield not too far away. We paid £11 per night for 3 adults and electric, there was only two hook ups from what we could see. Some farm animals sheep, cows and could hear a horse around but did not see it. The sun was out it was great to sit out and enjoy the nothingness.
