Excellent motorhome stop over Good hard standing for approx 5 vehicles with hook up. Good motorhome service area. Big attractive tent area. Limited other facilities (no shower) but very clean single toilet that has a wonderful view! Highly recommended site.

Exactly as described, clean basic facilities, good information regarding place to visits and maps to borrow. We used as a stopover on way to Scotland, but would be a good base for exploring the northern part of the lake district away from the more commercialised sites.

Been here a number of times. Always made welcome, site always spotless. Good access to major routes and local towns. Close to local towns and major transport routes whilst still being in the country. Highly recommended for either an overnight stay or longer as a great place to visit the northern part of the lake district.

Excellent site very well run Stay on this site as a stop over on our way to Shropshire from N Ireland and enjoyed it so much that we stayed for a couple of nights on the way home. Friendly owner and a very well run site with good facilities and very handy to the M6 for a stop over but equally as good as a holiday location. Good walking from the site to a local village and it has nice views. Will definitely use again.
