Small site ideally located for access to the northern lakes and Penrith and as a stopover if travelling on M6. Owners very friendly and helpful and fellow motorhomers so they know what is required on a CL site. Only limited facilities on site, water, EHU and a toilet, more than adequate as most caravans and motorhomes have on board showers etc. i travel with a dog and the site is perfect with lots of dog walks leading from the site. Shopping is available in Penrith, 5 minutes away and there is local pubs for eating out. I rarely use CL sites but if Crossfells is anything to go buy i will in the future.

Very peaceful site great for dogs . Not far away from ullswater , Keswick . Very clean site , one loo for campers and no showers , but we didn't mind as had our own , think if had shower block it would get very busy and may spoil it . We had a fab time and will deff return in near future a little gem of a place !

We stayed at Crossfells for 4 nights in July.Craig the owner made us very welcome, and his knowledge of the area is really good and he is there to pass this on to you if needed. The site is basic with immaculate toilet, chemical and grey waste. The nearest pub is a short walk away serving good food.We will be back again.

This is a really nice, clean site in a beautiful, rural setting. The owner is helpful and enthusiastic, being a camper himself. Many good walks, and easy access to the A6 and M6. Would definitely go back to this site for a longer stay. (Might be a bit bleak if the weather was bad)
