Easy access, hardstanding pitches, good clean facilities. Great spot near to the airport, yet not noisy at all. Easy to find and drive to, with very clean facilities. Great stop off point to further explore the North!

I feel that I shouldn't really be reviewing this site so highly but that would be selfish on my behalf. Never before have I stayed on a better site than this and would love to keep it to myself so I could stay there as often as I liked without being too busy. The site owners are lovely friendly people who really ought to be proud of themselves having such a wonderful place to stay. Toilets/shower, which in my opinion can make or break a campsite were immaculate with everything so well thought out and nothing forgotten. Nothing is a problem or inconvenience to them and we can't wait to get back as soon as possible.

We're a young family - mum, dad and 3 yr old daughter. We arrived here on the afternoon of 27th Sept. What a peaceful site. We were the only ones staying last night so our daughter had the run of the field. Toilet/shower/info cabin was fantastic, clean and warm. There is a fresh water point, recycling and chemical waste point, as well as electric hook up for each of the 5 hard standings. The farmer and his family were lovely, stopping to chat to us. Our daughter loved watching the horses in the adjacent field. A very large Asda is literally a 10-15min drive away for groceries etc. We'd only just bought our tourer caravan that day (our first), the access to this site caused us no issues, was was to access and easy to manoeuvre on to. Only reason we gave 4 for facilities was because apart from the toilet/wash/info cabin there wasn't much else there - which wasn't a bad thing. This was all we needed! Will visit again!

Stayed one night on our way to Seahouses.

This review is for Bleatarn Farm

Stayed one night on our way to Seahouses.Met by the owners Dad who insisted on cutting the grass around the pitch we had chosen. What a lovely guy and a lovely quiet, cosy and welcoming place to stay. We had our two labradors with us and they were made a real fuss of . Thank you for a great stay, will recommend and would stay again anytime!!
