A campsite dramatically located right on the edge of the country, on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall.

Situated on the Land’s End Penninsula, within a few miles of both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, is where you’ll find our pretty Sennon Cove Club campsite. Although a couple of miles north of Sennon Cove, the campsite does enjoy sea views over the cove from some pitches.

Gwynver Beach is a 25 minute walk from the campsite. The beach at Sennen is a 45 minute walk away from the campsite. From there, the energetic can walk over the coastal path to Land’s End, another 90 minutes away. Land’s End is England’s most westerly point and, as well as spectacular scenery, there are many family attractions including a 4D film experience and the Monsters of the Deep exhibition. Back in Sennon Cove you can learn to surf.

Our tranquil campsite has 72 pitches and all the facilities you need - a small play area for the kids, and a playing field for ball games; a small shop selling the basics, a laundry with washing machine and dryer with an iron and ironing board also available and an indoor washing up area.

The south coast of the peninsular offers Gwenver and Porthcurno, also the Telegraph Museum and the Minack cliff top theatre and Penzance with its historic harbour areas. Also, pretty out-of-the-way fishing coves, including Penberth, Mousehole and Newlyn, with its fish festival at the end of August.

North from the campsite, a pretty but very narrow, windy road leads through St. Just and Pendeen. There are some excellent walks around the old mine workings near to Botallack and the Geevor Mine, for those with an interest in this part of Cornwall's industrial past. Further afield, via Zennor, the pretty, but very busy, fishing port of St Ives with its Tate Gallery of modern art is worth a visit

The site was superb it was beautifully located near to lands end and The site access was great for the 7 metre motorhome we had and it was all open so you could see the lovely scenery, the airport at lands end was not far but didn't detract from the beauty hardly noticed it some times but it was nice to see the aircraft and my son loved them it was a small airport so wasn't running all day, the staff were wonderful and very helpful and great people they made the stay perfect. The lady have forgotten her name already as we have met so many camping and caravan staff this week but she was great with kids interacting with my son teaching him "Wheels UP" he kept saying it everytime we left somewhere and is still saying it he enjoyed the open areas and the small park situated in the centre, the slide needed polishing or cleaning as it wasn't very slidey but it didn't disappoint my son. It was a great peaceful location and not far from lands end which in it self was nice to see but very pricey and not much to do unless your 10 years old. I will be returning to the site next year as I loved it's peaceful tranquility and the chip van which attended the site, awesome fish and chips and very well priced too. Don't give this one a miss it's a great site. Toilets and facilities were all clean and well maintained the motorhome point was excellent and afforded you everything you needed to maintain it and it wasn't ever busy the washing machine and tumble drier allowed us to have clean clothes half way through our stay and it wasn't that badly priced either This site is what makes camping and caravanning club what it is a great family location for great holidays Thanks for a wonderful holiday experience

Although it was windy and some heavy rain, being tent campers, we were equipped for it. There is huge amount of wonderful places to visit in the area, but a visit to the Minack theatre on a nice day, is a must. We will definitely go back there if and when we go to that area.

As I said above I felt we were not trusted. Also the book said ?6.05 per adult per night. I would like to know how the sum of ?18 was reached. My husband paid and didn't challenge it. I would have done. It is a nice site but very windy. Also a bit boring, Just a field with pitches, Nothing of any interest.

I wanted to write this review because I wanted to share my experience of this site.

I wanted to write this review because I wanted to share my experience of this site. We spent a while finding the site and actually found it by following another camper who had been directed by a local lady. The area looked beautiful but very secluded and we booked on the site despite it being the most expensive of all the sites we were staying on over summer because it looked beautiful. Sadly on our arrival we were left very upset. My partner has hurt himself and was waiting to go into surgery so we were already having a bad couple of days. We drove around the site slowly trying to navigate ourselves round and we were stared at by everyone on the site, which was pristine by the way. We then pulled up when a woman marched up, stuck her head in the window and proceeded to aggressively shout at my partner. She said 'firstly, you have just gone the wrong way around the wrong way system and secondly I saw you racing around so fast, there are children here'. She proceeded to shout and said 'if I catch you doing it again I will make sure you're thrown off site'. Now, considering the fact we hadn't even got out the van to check in, we were extremely upset and I simply said to my partner, lets go. So we did and we parked up while I calmed down. I then called the centre and spoke to the friendliest lady who apologised for our experience and refunded our deposit as a gesture of good will. She did ask why we didn't stay to sort it out and as I explained, how could we knowing that lady was there? We are on holiday, we didn't want to be abused like that? She had every right to address those issues with us, but in a reasonable way, we weren't racing at all, and if you saw our van you would know we can't! Sadly we didn't stay, but it did look a nice site and the lady on the phone was lovely. Sadly, the terrifying shouter ruined it for us.
