    Top site for cycling

A campsite dramatically located right on the edge of the country, on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall.

Situated on the Land’s End Penninsula, within a few miles of both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, is where you’ll find our pretty Sennen Cove Club campsite. Although a couple of miles north of Sennen Cove, the campsite does enjoy sea views over the cove from some pitches.

Gwynver Beach is a 25 minute walk from the campsite. The beach at Sennen is a 45 minute walk away from the campsite. From there, the energetic can walk over the coastal path to Land’s End, another 90 minutes away. Land’s End is England’s most westerly point and, as well as spectacular scenery, there are many family attractions including a 4D film experience and the Monsters of the Deep exhibition. Back in Sennen Cove you can learn to surf.

Our tranquil campsite has 72 pitches and all the facilities you need - a small play area for the kids, and a playing field for ball games; a small shop selling the basics, a laundry with washing machine and dryer with an iron and ironing board also available and an indoor washing up area.

The south coast of the peninsular offers Gwenver and Porthcurno, also the Telegraph Museum and the Minack cliff top theatre and Penzance with its historic harbour areas. Also, pretty out-of-the-way fishing coves, including Penberth, Mousehole and Newlyn, with its fish festival at the end of August.

North from the campsite, a pretty but very narrow, windy road leads through St. Just and Pendeen. There are some excellent walks around the old mine workings near to Botallack and the Geevor Mine, for those with an interest in this part of Cornwall's industrial past. Further afield, via Zennor, the pretty, but very busy, fishing port of St Ives with its Tate Gallery of modern art is worth a visit

We had a very friendly welcome from the helpful staff and found the site easy to access.

We had a very friendly welcome from the helpful staff and found the site easy to access. Our hard standing was level and we found everything spot on. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. The site is in the middle of the country side with only the occasional plane breaking the perfect silence. There is a good bus service and a link to the South East Coast path. The nearby coastal walks are fantastic with lots of flowers along the way and exhilarating views of the sea. There is also a sandy beach a short down hill walk away. The site is ideally situated to visit Lands End and the World Heritage Site of the Cornish Mines.

This is a lovely site situated just off the A30 and only a few miles from Land's End. It is a relatively quite site with great views over the coast and the sunsets are fantastic. It is worth noting that the site is quite exposed to the elements and the wind can be quite strong at times. This will concern those in tents more than motor homes and caravans. The amenities were at all times spotless during my stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was an enjoyable one, every request no matter how small was met with a smile and good advice. Reception is stocked with some basic food commodities, other shops are available in Sennen, St Just and the major supermarkets are present in Penzance (7 miles away) and at Hayle on the A30. The site is ideally situated for exploring the wonderful Cornish coast line from St Ives to Penzance and Marazion. Cape Cornwall, Land's End, Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre, Lamorna Cove, Mousehole, Penzance and St Michael's Mount are just some of the attractions within easy reach of the site. Inland are several wonderful gardens having many species of plant which thrive in this mild Westerly climate. Land's End Airport is within easy access of the site and a trip or a stay on the Scilly Isles is easily arranged. This site is in the perfect location to explore the West of Cornwall, or if lazy days on the beach are more appealing, they are close at hand as well. I would recommend this site to anyone wishing to explore West Cornwall or just wishing to get away from it all and let the stress of modern life just disappear for a while. Highly recommended!

On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Andy and Debbie who provided a detailed overview of the local area and explained the site amenities. A site that we shall certainly return to, the children are looking forward to a summer holiday at Sennen Cove. The beach was a short walk from the site following the well signposted path, the views from the caravan of the ocean and delightful sun sets will form a lasting memory. One of the highlights of the holiday was a visit to the Minack theatre to watch 100 years of Vera lynn, we all enjoyed the show and the setting is outstanding, a must do if you are fortunate enough to be visiting Sennen Cove Caravan and Camping Club site. We all enjoyed the walks along the coast and visiting numerous fishing villages. One of the Beaches at Sennen Cove is dog friendly, the site also has a large dog walking area adjacent to the caravan pitches. Thank you Andy and Debbie for making us feel so welcome and providing a site of such high standards, it was a privilege to stay, we look forward to returning. Regards Andrew

Wonderful reception from the managers on arrival, beautifully kept site, facilities great, pitches great, views exceptional, good tv signal, "club"! wifi but it worked, some good walks but across cattle fields that were very rough and would have been a quagmire if wet, bring your boots! Tons to do in this area but do not bother with rip off Lands End there is so much better to visit. Only here for one night and so lucky with the weather that can be "variable!" in this exposed location. A Gem .
