    Top site for cycling

A campsite dramatically located right on the edge of the country, on the Atlantic coast of Cornwall.

Situated on the Land’s End Penninsula, within a few miles of both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, is where you’ll find our pretty Sennon Cove Club campsite. Although a couple of miles north of Sennon Cove, the campsite does enjoy sea views over the cove from some pitches.

Gwynver Beach is a 25 minute walk from the campsite. The beach at Sennen is a 45 minute walk away from the campsite. From there, the energetic can walk over the coastal path to Land’s End, another 90 minutes away. Land’s End is England’s most westerly point and, as well as spectacular scenery, there are many family attractions including a 4D film experience and the Monsters of the Deep exhibition. Back in Sennon Cove you can learn to surf.

Our tranquil campsite has 72 pitches and all the facilities you need - a small play area for the kids, and a playing field for ball games; a small shop selling the basics, a laundry with washing machine and dryer with an iron and ironing board also available and an indoor washing up area.

The south coast of the peninsular offers Gwenver and Porthcurno, also the Telegraph Museum and the Minack cliff top theatre and Penzance with its historic harbour areas. Also, pretty out-of-the-way fishing coves, including Penberth, Mousehole and Newlyn, with its fish festival at the end of August.

North from the campsite, a pretty but very narrow, windy road leads through St. Just and Pendeen. There are some excellent walks around the old mine workings near to Botallack and the Geevor Mine, for those with an interest in this part of Cornwall's industrial past. Further afield, via Zennor, the pretty, but very busy, fishing port of St Ives with its Tate Gallery of modern art is worth a visit

This site is in a stunning area with some great views it was pretty quite when we stayed as the weather wasn't great. However, we still used the time to good effect with some superb walks directly from the site. Nearest pub is 2 miles away(Sennen Cove) or St Just (3 miles) which has some great pubs with good food. The site is well maintained (the site team didn't seem to stop all day) and it was noted they have changed the time of cleaning to mid afternoon so we always had access to the loo's. Very friendly and welcoming a real treat of a site with something for everyone, a large dog walking area with a football pitch and a play park for the kids whilst us "oldies" could relax and enjoy the sunsets over the lovely sea view. Many thanks to the Sennen Cove Team hope to see you all again soon.

This is very much a site for those who want a quiet break by the coast.

This review is for Sennen Cove

This is very much a site for those who want a quiet break by the coast. We were fortunate enough to have a pitch with sea views and thankfully the weather was very kind to us The toilet and showers were impeccably clean but as mentioned previously, the facilities are closed for quite a long time after 10.30am. Having to make sure that you have your wash and shower before 10.30, could make you feel a bit rushed at times All the site staff were incredibly friendly and helpful advising on all manner of things including bus times, places to visit and even eating places in Sennen Cove On our last morning, we came back from showering only to discover that we had a slow puncture on a back wheel of our motorhome. Andie on reception couldn't have been more helpful in giving us contact details of a nearby garage (who were very good!) and saying not to worry if we overran our time while waiting for the puncture to be repaired All in all, a smashing site that one day we would like to return to, thank you!
