Peaceful, well equipped site very convenient for Eden Project.

Peaceful, well equipped site very convenient for Eden Project. Stayed here for 2 nights given the closeness to the Eden Project like many previous visitors. Warm welcome and peaceful site, overlooking a wooded valley. Current price is 18 a night with hookup, 12 without (2 people). Shower 1 for 5 minutes, which proved to be more than adequate as I had never timed myself before! In addition to Eden we would strongly recommend a walk to the Luxulyan world heritage site only 30 minutes or so away, where amongst beautiful wooded valleys you can explore the remains of industrial workings including a viaduct 27 m high and 200m long, the housing for a large water wheel, leats (small canals) and building remains. We returned through Luxulyan village, across fields and through roads pausing for a drink in the Kings Arms, an extremely enjoyable afternoon.

Quiet, secluded, lovely views, near to Eden Project Just halve an hour to walk to Eden Project, where you get discount for arriving on foot or public transport, albeit along a fairly busy road without pavement. Site is in the middle of countryside, very quiet, not to far to drive to Gardens of Heligan & St Austell.

We stayed here for a long weekend in order to visit the Eden Project. It was so near that we went three times. That makes five times this year for the price of one entry fee. The site is in a lovely setting and we did explore the woodland walk. The flowers and shrubs on the site were beautiful. There were little shrews playing a few feet from our van. The owner was friendly as was his lovely spaniel. There were a few other campers on site including a couple of families. We paid £15 per night for motorhome on electric hook up.
