Tregurrian is a great for watersports & people looking for a seaside holiday.

Camp at our Tregurrian Club campsite and you’ll be spoilt for choice of beaches to visit. There are fourteen close to our stunning campsite in the North Cornwall, located just north of the popular seaside town of Newquay.

Watergate Bay is the closest and is a short walk from the campsite along the South West Coastal Path. This two-mile stretch of golden sand is popular with families. The Atlantic swell here also makes it equally appealing to watersport lovers. The beach hosts annual surfing events too.

Surfers will also be drawn to Newquay for Fistral Beach which also hosts a number of events through the summer including surf championships, a fun dog show and the popular Boardmasters event which includes skate and BMX competitions, live music and competitive surfing. Other attractions of the town include Newquay Zoo, and the Lappa Valley Steam Railway and you could spot seals and dolphins in the harbour.

Our pretty Tregurrian campsite offers 90 level pitches. The well thought out site has immaculate faciliites including a handy wetsuit shower.

A few miles up the coast Padstow has some excellent restaurants, including one owned by celebrity chef Rick Stein while Watergate Bay is home to Jamie Oliver’s 15 Cornwall Restaurant.

Absolutely loved this location. It's brilliant if you like walking, which we do. We walked to Mawgan Porth and Porth on coastal path. To St Mawgan via road. The beach is fantastic and easy to reach. However, it is a bit of a climb going back, so some people might like to take the car. Great for dogs. Wardens very friendly and the place is kept lovely. Unfortunately, not all dog owners clean their dog mess up. Might be better if there was more dog bins in the lane, but that's for the council to sort not CCC. Our No.1 spot so far and will definitely be going there again next year.

The pitch I was on was not particularly generous in size, so I can understand why the warden was keen on the 5 metre rule. No problem with that, he was helpful in getting it right. The site itself is very well kept and the pitches are level (which is a bonus for my TT!). If you like walking it is easy access to the coastal path and reasonable walk down into Watergate Bay. Whenever I had any queries about local matters, the wardens were helpful and informative. Although there is no dog walk on site, the country lane immediately outside the site is very quiet and suitable. I enjoyed my stay here, so thank you to all the staff for helping to make it a pleasant one.

This is a pleasant and we'll run site with pleasant and friendly, helpful hosts. The site is well situated for a number of activities. There is the coast path with its magnificent views, there is a very good beach a mile away at Water gate Bay for surfers or families, with a large flat sandy beach, there is the Camel Trail a few miles north for cyclists or you can just put your feet up and relax

The site was very clean throughout the grass was kept cut at all times after a pitch was vacated. The managers were always helpful and friendly. This site isn't really situable for children as there's no play area so had to put up with them riding their bikes up down the road or around the toilet block which isn't very safe at all.Ball games aren't allowed neither which is stated on the website but for children to be told off for playing catch within their own pitch was out of order in our view. The walk to Watergate Bay wasn't very good by road as it was along a very narrow busy road and other road users didn't seem to worry about their speed!!!.That said, the site has a fish n chip van come on site twice a week and they were nice to eat.On a Sat a local farmer comes round to your pitch with local produce,we had lovely strawberries. The site is great to use as a base for the many beaches, places of interest and shopping for all.
