An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the North Cornish coast

You’ll find some of north Cornwall’s best bathing and surfing beaches within easy reach of our Bude Club campsite. The campsite boasts a prime location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Boscastle and Crackington Haven. Bude lies nine miles to the north, while south are Tintagel and Camelford.

After a day spent soaking up the sun on the beach our Bude campsite is the perfect place to sit back and relax and enjoy the fantastic views over rolling countryside. Bordered by hedges, the campsite has a separate field and you’ll find a recreation room in the facilities block and a small children’s play area opposite reception to keep younger campers entertained while on site.

There’s a pleasant walk to Crackington Haven over fields and stiles from site where you’ll find a sandy beach and an abundance of rock pools. The nearby fishing port of Boscastle is worth visiting. Learn about the legend of King Arthur in Tintagel, enjoy a cliff top walk to the castle ruins and Merlin’s Cave. Just south of Tintagel Trebarwith Strand is a popular surfing beach and dog-friendly. Port Isaac, made famous by TV’s Doc Martin and Boscastle, a delightful fishing port with white washed cottages, steep narrow streets and alleyways, should not be missed.

North of Bude campsite, Widemouth Bay and Blackrock Sands is fabulous for surfing and sunbathing.

Perfect location for access to the wonderful Cornish coast and the many other Attractions in the area. Being on the A39 means that every route leads off thatmain Atlantic Highway and really cuts down travelling time. Would really recommend Lanhydrock and St Nectans Glen. Such a wide choice of places to eat. Site Managers particularly efficient and friendly

The thing we were most impressed with was the helpfulness and friendliness shown by the site wardens, Ian & Jackie. What a lovely couple. As newbies to caravanning Ian even helped us put up our awning! As to location, great for visiting Bude itself, Launceston, Padstow and Tintagel. We had a great time despite some dodgy weather!!

Lovely canal walk in Bude, which we did twice as it was so peaceful and dogs could be off lead.

Lovely canal walk in Bude, which we did twice as it was so peaceful and dogs could be off lead. Many things to do, & see, in the area & we aim to return to carry these out at a later date. Dogs also allowed on specific beaches & the staff at the site were very helpful with this. Our only suggestion would be to improve the designated dog walking area on site so that dogs can be exercised adequately if owners did not want to leave the site at any time. However, this may not always be possible with the land available. We coped as did many others. A peaceful and friendly environment, clean and all amenities.
