Overview

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

We are a CS 5 Van family run site situated in the heart of beautiful Cheshire. Bostock is an historic Cheshire village with great walks, countryside and views stretching to the Pennines with surrounding fields grazed by Holstein Friesian cows belonging to an award winning Dairy Farm. The site is equidistant between Middlewich, Northwich and Winsford all within 2 miles. There are lots local, interesting attractions for all age groups to visit, all the information on these will be found in the welcome pack given upon arrival. There is also a dog walk immediately from the site along a private road with no passing traffic. Recently opened and just a 2 minute walk from the site, The Hayhurst Arms, a dog friendly pub serving up home cooked food and locally brewed Cheshire ales; perfect for sitting outside in the sunshine, or getting cosy by the fire in the winter. The site is 1 acre, level and well maintained. Each caravan pitch has been designed to be spacious with plenty of distance between them allowing our guests to appreciate their surroundings, undisturbed and unspoilt.

The owner's mother opened the barrier when we got there and said Alison would be over in a bit - it took 7 hours until we saw her and no welcome pack. I'd been for a walk but couldn't find the farm shop as advertised on the description (main reason for booking was the homemade ice cream and pies!). Alison said they weren't doing it this year but hadn't got round to taking it off the site yet. Just as well I'd brought provisions as we were nowhere near a shop! The pub next to the site is new and is ok to chill out for a bit. There is nothing else to do unless you drive - no walks, nothing. But a lovely, clean and quiet site so good for a stop-off as long as you have your own facilities.

Brook Farm campsite provided all that one could ask for from a CS.

This review is for Brook House Farm

Brook Farm campsite provided all that one could ask for from a CS. Easy access even when towing a car at the rear of a motorhome. Plenty of room for manouvering and distance between the level pitches. All facilities close at hand. The "Hayhurst Restaurant/Publichouse" is both dog friendly and within easy walking distance! Many local attractions, too many for us to visit on our recent stay. A very good reason to visit again in the future. Easy to understand why this site has won awards in the past.

A superb little site in a beautiful location, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will most definitely be back. Made to feel very welcome. Alison and Adrian (site owners) helped us beyond the call of duty when we experienced some technical difficulties with our caravan. Our stay was most enjoyable and relaxing.
