What a great site with good views and a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. It really deserves to get more patronage from members than it does.
Excellent stay especially as we had the site to ourselves for 6 of our 9 night stay! Facilities all well kept and the owner was extremely helpful in recommending places to see and things that do. Obviously we would recommend Chester and Liverpool is in easy reach as well. The last 2-3 miles into the site are along narrow lanes with infrequent pacing places is can be tricky for larger units but well worth the trouble. The free range where's available were also delicious.

What a gem!
Idyllic hideaway location with lovely views. The site is located on a single track road with passing places but as there was very little passing traffic (3 tractors, 1 car & a van) this wasnt an issue. Plenty of walks nearby (Mr Ralph is very knowledgeable about the local area & its history).
The facilities were excellent - very clean & well maintained to a high standard. There are some nice touches-troughs with flowers & a rockery.
Mr & Mrs Ralphs made you feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. They went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.
We will be returning in the near future.
