This site was in a great spot with lovely views, and generally was peaceful.

This site was in a great spot with lovely views, and generally was peaceful. However it only has one loo, which by the evening was getting a little grubby. There were about 7 units and a couple of tents, and it didn't help the toilet facility when one of the motorhomes had 2 cars of visitors every day who stayed into the evening. This obviously put more strain on the toilet facilites. There are 2 showers, one in a portacabin. I had trouble with both in relation to hot water. 10 mins walk to local pub, which done OK food, then a further 10 mins into New Quay. I understand there is possibly going to be another loo next year, which it desperately needs. If you have your own facilities then this is a great site, but not sure I would like to be there mid or high season, purely because of the facilities.

First attempt at camping and we couldn't have picked a better site. A warm welcome from Helen.

First attempt at camping and we couldn't have picked a better site. A warm welcome from Helen. The site was very quite and peaceful, with only a motor home and caravan on site so not to many people to witness out attempts to put the tent up! The facilities were spotless, however I would worry if it was very busy as there is only one toilet and shower room. Access to the site is up a winding lane so no passing traffic, huge green in the middle which is a great space for the kids to run and play. Look out for the very friendly ducks that will pay you a visit! All in all excellent! Wonderful place to stay. Will be booking again soon.

for a 5 van site this must be one of the best have visited. only stayed I night to break a journey and will certainly use this again. even on very wet depth of winter the toilet and shower were spotless fully equipped and hot water. electric hook up fully working and so all I needed. no one else on site and owners in adjacent farmhouse very friendly. able to arrive late and set up without bother and having booked no need trouble owners till morning to pay but clear that if i had needed anything I could have asked. mobile reception good which was useful in this otherwise patchy reception area of Wales. thanks

In many ways this is a lovely, peaceful site, with great views.

In many ways this is a lovely, peaceful site, with great views. It is situated close to the welsh coast path and the seaside town of Newquay. The owners provided a very friendly welcome. The only problem was that when we stayed there were too many units (about 30) for a site that has only one proper toilet. this led to long queues at times and toilet paper running out. The owner tells us that he is building another toilet next year, in which case we would happily return.
