    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

We experienced a car crash on our second day, and as we were camping with no electric it was difficult to sort anything as our phones were dead, the lady on site was lovely enough to let me partner charge his phone so we could sort the insurance out.

When we first booked this site, we were told that they were full and that we could only have a hard standing pitch for 5 out of our 6 nights booked. We would have to move to a grass pitch for one night. We were very happy to do this, so imagine our delight when we arrived at camp to be told that they had secured a hard standing pitch for all of our stay there. The staff are very warm and friendly, giving advice when asked for re local walks etc. The local pub at Cross Inn is within walking distance (most important when staying in a motorhome) . The village has two shops Londis and a local shop which reminded us of Arkright's as it seems to sell everything. The locals are very friendly, making you feel welcome where ever you go. New Quay is within walking distance at first we walked there along the main road, very scary, would not recommend, then the locals told us about another safer route, through the country lanes. If however you are not capable of walking far distances there is a very good bus service. New Quay is a bustling little sea town. Best fish and chips were at the Lime Crab. Nice pub, the Seahorse in with crusty ham and cheese cobs and real ale. Nice little quirky shops dotted around too. Alas we did not see any Dolphins, which are sighted in the bay and harbour quite often. We will definitely be visiting this site again.

nearest shop was a londis that was approx 5minute drive/10 min walk down the lane. Beautiful scenery from site. 2 swings and a slide on play area at site ideal for children up to age of about 10. Small Dog walk on site also. 20 min drive to seaside town of New Quay where we went on a dolphin spotting boat trip which was fab for whole family (our children are 7 and 4) also dog friendly. Nearest supermarkets are Tesco and Aldi which were a good 40 minute drive from site in Cardigan. Our pitch was on top of the field had fab view but required chocks as fairly sloping but even ground . Showers were immaculate and lovely and hot. Also used laundry facilities ?? Overall a lovely site and brilliant for all ages .
