Overview

    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

We arrived late on the busy Bank Holiday weekend (having hit bad traffic), and unfortunately interrupted the manager's evening meal. But we could not have had a warmer or more genuine welcome. Having been unable to find a compatible gas bottle replacement on thee way, we might have been relying on takeaways and sandwiches- not what we had planned! But our hosts very kindly lent us a gas bottle until we could get our own. All done with such good humour that our visit to this well-run site was enormously enhanced. We cannot recommend this site too highly.

An excellent, immaculately maintained site well situated for the coast and visits to nearby larger towns such as New Quay, Cardigan, Aberaeron, Aberystwyth and also smaller secluded beaches such as Penbryn and Llangranog. Good food and beer at the nearby dog friendly Cross Inn and Crown Inn pubs. Great area for walking. A boat trip dolphin watching from New Quay is a 'must do', the day we went we saw three separate sightings of dolphins together with seals and various sea birds. This was our first visit to this site but we will definitely return. The Cardigan Bay Club Site Wardens and Assistant Wardens were very friendly and helpful; they are a credit to the Club.
