    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

Arrived for a nine night stay and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

This review is for Cardigan Bay

Arrived for a nine night stay and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The site is clean and well maintained. We have a dog but was unable to use the dog walk due to it being too boggy, nothing that could be done about this due to the weather unfortunately but plenty of other places to walk the dog. The site managers were very friendly and worked hard. Thank you for a lovely stay we will certainly be back to this site again. Kerry & Robert (Nottingham)

Sadly, although it is stated that pets are welcome, they very obviously are not and are merely tolerated. The so called 'dog walk' is a quagmire even in September and very unsafe underfoot (slipped and fell on the slopping boggy ground). Was told it was a little boggy at the bottom but the entire 'walk' was boggy. Were also told, upon arrival, by warden that dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times even on the dog walk! On every door there are large signs saying 'dogs not allowed', even on the door to the 'Information' room (couldn't stay in there more than a few minutes because of the stale smell! Unfortunately the shower facilities are in dire need of improvement/updating (there is an overwhelming damp smell which is very unpleasant). Although there are a few toilets for ladies, there are only 3 or 4 showers! This is a very large site so this is totally inappropriate. Overall, although initially this site looks good, it is in urgent need of improvement/updating and should make up your mins as to whether dogs really are welcome or not. We will nit be returning and cannot recommend it.

Absolutely loved it! The tent was clean and immaculate.

Absolutely loved it! The tent was clean and immaculate. The kids loved the bunkbeds and plenty of room for the four of us. Usually, we take our tent but, in view of the distance, we decided to try glamping. It was an excellent and wise decision as, for a couple of days, the rain hammered down. The Wardens were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The facilities were clean. We had great fun exploring the area and also drove up to Snowdonia which was well worth the 3 hour drive as the scenery is spectacular. New Quay was our closest town and was wonderfully picture postcard. Please be aware that the nearest supermarket is in Cardigan which is about 15+ miles away but there is a Londis store at Cross Inn. Would recommend this site and would probably stay there again when we next visit the region
