    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

This was our first time using a cc&c site and wow were we impressed. Site was very clean, mowed, yes slopping but give a pitch which was very suitable for our tent. Staff were polite and very helpful. Lovely dog walk area and wifi for teenager so all campers happy. Perfect base for local coastal interested in a rural location. We will return. Thank you.

I stayed for three overcast murky days in June....it is in Wales! The campsite is very well looked after, the showers and toilets are clean and plentiful. The views and countryside are nice (weather permitting). There is a camp shop and it's only a five minute walk to the nearest little village for shops and a pub that does food. I imagine it would be good for dog owners, hikers etc

However, as I write this the excessive vocals from a nearby pitch have just abated and the occupants gone inside, having been outside since early afternoon. My concern is this; I am told that the occupants of that pitch were once employed by yourselves and have now retired. Loud voices and singing (the beer?), plus disrespectful remarks to myself and my sister, on another pitch, are not what we expect from C&CC people past or present. Further, it seems the site rule of keeping your dog on a lead does not seem to apply to them. The dog growled at my sister, and accompanied by an inaudible comment from its owner when she had the temerity to walk on the grass alongside their pitch. The man in question appears to have a part-time role as grass-cutter but is far less than friendly. Loud comments such as 'what's he gawping at?' when I stood in my awning just prior to taking the dog for a late walk did little to change my view that this man in particular has some inflated view of his position on site. Is he a guest, a fee-payer, or what?

We took a hilly coastal walk from the site (printed instructions given to us by the friendly site staff) to the beautiful bay Cwmtydu then used the Cardi Bach and bus service to get back which meant we saw some lovely scenery and destinations without having to use the car. Great!
