Overview

    Top site for beaches

Our campsite is near the beautiful beaches of the Welsh coast.

The coves and beaches of west Wales are easily explored from our Club Site at Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion. You can see red kites - a success story in conservation - from here and there are dolphins off the coast close by. The area is a nature-lover's paradise and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Worth Noting

Most pitches are sloping. Levellers and chocks are required. The site also has a boules pitch.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it from the fish stall.

What a lovely site, clean and friendly. We were on hard standing near reception really quiet.

What a lovely site, clean and friendly. We were on hard standing near reception really quiet. Dog walk was well thought out and tidy. Toilet block was kept very clean but showering busy in peak times as only 3 showers. The views around site are lovely. New Quay worth a visit and tasty fish n chips. Local shop very handy with everything to hand. Warden was helpful when we needed to borrow tools for our car. Local beach walk and woods for dog walking with no restrictions. Some spectacular scenery when out driving, loads to see and do. Site kept very tidy and colourful with flowers. Shop had basics but local shop 2 mins drive off site. My children enjoyed their stay, my son made friends and my daughter has Aspergers and coped because site is small and quiet. Walking dogs off site you must have them on leads as livestock in fields and no real areas to walk freely unless you drive approx 2/3 miles to beach and woods, easy access and free parking. Most places dog friendly, Honey farm does lovely cream teas, caws cheese factory worth a visit, cheeses are first class in taste. Silver mountain kids enjoyed, needs upgrading but not too dear. Devils bridge waterfalls great but anyone with a walking disability forget it, the steps are extremely steep in areas, it may be too much for the very young and some dogs too. Our holiday was booked on a whim and wasn't sure what to expect, the weather was great and cardigan bay was a cheerful delight.

Have just returned from a 7 night stay at this site.

This review is for Cardigan Bay

Have just returned from a 7 night stay at this site. The site is lovely and well kept, however the facilities are in great need of updating. Although the site was far from full during our stay there are only 3 showers each for ladies and gents which caused queues each morning of half an hour or more. This may have been eased if the wardens were a little less strict about closing the facilities at 11am to clean. We have been on other sites where the facilities are cleaned later in the day and there have been less problems with queues. We also found the wardens to be less than friendly on a number of occasions, and rather rude on others.

We loved our visit here. We stayed for 4 nights but couldn't fit in everything we wanted to do. The best place we visited was Red Kite Feeding at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Visitor Centre.

This was our first time using a cc&c site and wow were we impressed. Site was very clean, mowed, yes slopping but give a pitch which was very suitable for our tent. Staff were polite and very helpful. Lovely dog walk area and wifi for teenager so all campers happy. Perfect base for local coastal interested in a rural location. We will return. Thank you.
