Well presented pitches with picnic tables, next to the Ystwyth Trail.

Well presented pitches with picnic tables, next to the Ystwyth Trail. Facilities basic but being upgraded. Beautiful spot-will be back. The pitches were well maintained, lovely landscaping and right next to the Ystwyth River and Trail. Friendly owner. Facilities presently being upgraded. Only here for 2 nights as visiting family in Aberystwyth - just ten minutes away. Will be back with bikes next time to further explore. Brilliant spot to explore this area. Had lunch at the Halfway Inn on the road to Devils Bridge from Aberystwyth, less than half hour drive from site. Fantastic scenery, brilliant food, friendly landlady. During the drive we spotted red kites flying level with the campervan. While walking along the Ystwyth trail we saw a field with more than a dozen buzzards, trees full of longtail tits and a variety of other birds. The autumn colours were beautiful in the area. Plenty of caches to find if you are into geocaching.

Great site next to river and cycle path to village along old railway line.

Great site next to river and cycle path to village along old railway line. Great hosts very friendly. The site is located in a secluded river valley with mature trees on the boundaries. The hard standing is well maintained and electric points easy to reach. The very friendly owners are currently upgrading the on site facilities, providing shower block at the edge of the hardstanding. We enjoyed a walk to the village along the formation of the old railway line, great for dog walking. A great place to stay when in Mid Wales. Do not follow directions on Sat Nav as they are wrong! Over the river bridge and TURN RIGHT and you will see the sign.
