This review is for Bryncoch Farm

A pretty well established site conveniently situated for the Gower and Brecon Beacons overseen by Trevor, the owner, who works hard to make sure his visitors have a good time. There are 6 level hard standing pitches all equipped with electric overlooking a fishing lake. The site hires out Log pods and tent pitches are available. There are two toilets and one shower which were clean with plenty of hot water however these were stretched over a busy weekend. Although it is good to see Free Wi Fi it is only intermittently available, usually in the mornings. Dogs are welcomed but bear in mind there are ducks and geese, plus farm’s dogs onsite. There is no designated dog walk, we exercised our dog on a public footpath which leads off the farm directly onto the National Park. The site would benefit from a ‘poo bin’ this might encourage more owners to ‘pick up’, you had to watch where you walked for the first 400 yards. Good shopping facilities in Ammanford approx 3 miles away. All in all a lovely site that if it had been maintained to the ‘CS’ principles would be truly a perfect place but the facilities have somewhat outgrown both the space available and the CS principles of a maximum of 5 units and some tent pitches. Site can get crowded and at these times is not so quiet and peaceful.

The site is very quiet and peaceful.

The site is very quiet and peaceful. I hate to give it a really glowing report because I selfishly would like to keep as quiet as we found it, but it is very good. Trevor and his wife are very helpful. The on-site Log Pods which are manufactured on site are very comfortable. The fishing is good. The facilities are clean. The fire baskets by the lake are great fun in the evening. The atmosphere is very friendly.
