Top site for pubs
Top site for fishing
St Neots campsite is on the banks of the Great Ouse, a wildlife haven & close to town.
Walkers, cyclists and fishermen will love our St Neots Club campsite. Within striking distance of the south Cambridgeshire market town of the same name, our St Neots campsite enjoys a waterside position on the banks of the River Ouse.
Our charming campsite is ideally situated for visiting the many attractions and walking and cycling countryside of the south Cambridge area. It has 180 pitches. Bag yourself a riverside pitch and sit back and watch the boats sail by. Fishing is available here from 16 June until the site closes for the season.
Although the site enjoys a quiet location, all the amenities you need are on the doorstep. You are within strolling distance of a lovely pub and a lovely riverside walk brings you into St Neots which offers a number of independent shops as well as national retailers and a varied choice of eating places.
During the summer St Neots hosts a number of festivals including a medieval festival and a regatta.
The town also has a number of parks including the Common, Priory Park and Riverside Park. Set amongst huge weeping willow trees, there are lakes for boating and fishing, picnic areas, children's play areas, and many marked cycle and footpaths.
For nature lovers Paxton Pits Nature Reserve at Little Paxton, comprises 75 hectares of gravel pits, meadows, scrub and woodland next to the River Great Ouse. There is a wealth of wildlife and a network of marked paths to enjoy.
The university city of Cambridge is around ten miles from the campsite and has many cultural attractions and shopping opportunities.
Towcars must remain on site overnight (due to possibility of flooding). Please note that canoe/dinghy or any small boat launching on the Great Ouse must be registered before arrival with the Environment Agency Recreational Waterway (Registration) 1979. As the entrance/exit road to this site is very narrow with no passing places, please ensure that you do not arrive before 12 noon.
100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

This is my favourite site not only is it by the river but easy walking distance into the town centre. We have been coming here for for a few years and every time we stay, even though it might have been a couple of months between stays, we receive an extremely warm welcome by the staff. The site is well maintained, always someone mowing the grass. Lots of potted flowers, which is a wonderful touch. The washing up, showers and toilets are kept extremely clean, even when it is fully booked they endeavour keep on top of things. Must be extremely difficult. That was why I was surprised by a previous comment from a camper. They were not describing the campsite I know! The site is a mixture of tents, caravans and motor homes. It is great seeing the children with their families have fun mainly staying in the tents. But all well behaved. St Neots centre is about 10 minutes walk away to a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are numerous parks and walks. Whatever age you are you will find something of interest.
