Overview

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

Located outside the pretty market town of March, Cambridgeshire and surrounded by open farmland, big skies and amazing sunrises and sunsets, our 5 acre property backs onto the Old River Nene. Enjoy a leisurely walk into town along its bank watching the narrow boats and swans passing by. Visitors can enjoy our mooring for fishing and canoeing and there is plenty of room for children to play. National Cycle Route 63 and part of the Hereward Way Walk both run by our property, making us an ideal stopping point for cyclists and walkers (discounts available if you are not bringing a car and talk to us about luggage drops). We are less than an hour drive from Ely, Cambridge and Hunstantons seaside to name but a few places worth visiting. We also run a B&B onsite offering two spacious, comfortable rooms with private bath/shower facilities. wifi, guest lounge, games, dvd library and good quality breakfasts - see our Fourwinds Leisure website for more information and pictures.

Had a lovely relaxing week at Fourwinds, Bev & John are very friendly and made us very welcome. The old river Nene flows along the bottom of the site, go right for walk along the river or left part river walk to March takes about 40 min's, there are several towns within a few miles to pay a visit or further to Norfolk coast. There is a large Tesco with fuel about 3 min's from site for all your shopping needs. We enjoyed our stay and will return later in the year.

What lovely warm welcome we received on arrival from Beverley and John.

What lovely warm welcome we received on arrival from Beverley and John. As caravanners themselves they know what is important, plenty of space, hard stndings, nice short grass (with no clippings to tread in), clean toilets and showers and breakfast can be purchased if required. The site is in a nice convenient position with walking into March away from traffic.
