We were disappointed on arrival to find that we and been allocated a hardstanding pitch which was basically the side of the driveway leading to two caravan pitches and would not have allowed us to have an area to sit outside our van. The family member on site when we arrived let us use a different and much more acceptable hardstanding pitch, which was free. When the owner came later to collect his money, he was not happy with our relocation, but let us stay there. Not a great welcome. However, he was then very helpful and informative about the local area.
The shower and toilet facilities on site were not really adequate as they were also being used by people staying in the adjacent field.
The site was fairly quiet - no sign of boy racers, but there was some road noise.
It is well positioned for visiting Wicken Fen and using the local network of cycle paths.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on our first ever trip out with a caravan. It was a very stormy weekend, but the site was fine with no waterlogged areas. Basic but clean facilities. The lane that runs alongside the site isn't busy but does seem to attract boy racers which wasn't a problem but spoilt what would otherwise be a great little site. There is a seasonal area adjacent to the site, which makes it seem like you're on a larger site. Close to the National Trust's Wicken Fen, and the village of Wicken where there is a lovely thatched pub called the Maid's Head that served a very nice pub lunch, and an old windmill. Good for walking and cycling, or a trip into Cambridge by car.
