Overview

  • Campsites which have a great on site play area

    Top site for play area

  • A popular site for families

    Great site for families

Family site with theme park and the appeal of nearby Milton Keynes.

With a theme park right on its doorstep, Gulliver’s Milton Keynes Club campsite is particularly popular with families with younger children but is equally convenient for anyone wishing to explore the many shops and attractions of Milton Keynes itself.

The 90-pitch campsite is well laid out with both grass and hardstand pitches and has excellent, modern facilities including a parent and child room, and washing up and laundry areas. There’s a children’s play area and of course, the theme park a short walk from the site. The campsite also has ten camping pods for those wanting to experience ‘glamping’.

As well as a variety of rides, Gulliver’s Land features the Dinosaur Park and Gulliver’s Farm with the new Splashzone, shows, plus restaurants and shops, many of which are indoors, so bad weather won’t spoil the fun.

Away from the campsite, Willen Lakeside Park hosts watersports and is good for walking. Three miles from the campsite, Milton Keynes has an excellent range of shops, cinema complex and many places to eat and drink. The town also has parks, cycleways and footpaths, as well as an ice rink, wakeboard park and at the Xscape complex you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding, indoor rock-climbing, body-flying and bowling.

Bletchley Park, home of The Codebreakers and Woburn Abbey with its gardens, deer park and antiques centre are also close by.

When you are near to the campsite and at the roundabout, please follow the signs to Gullivers Splash Zone (do not go into Gullivers Land).

You can also stay in a Camping Den and our new Maxi Glamping Tents here.

We wanted to use OUR club site on a jounrney back from Wales for one night.

This review is for Gullivers Milton Keynes

We wanted to use OUR club site on a jounrney back from Wales for one night. We tried to book in advance and were told that it was not possible to book OUR club for one night so we had to book for two. We were then told on arrival that we could have paid for one night if we had not booked, but they would not give a refund and demanded the balance for two nights. NOT VERY FRIENDLY. The facilities are a disgrace to OUR club; outdated and with so few loos and showers for so many campers; how does OUR club get away with it? The roads around the site are non-tarmac and full of bumps and holes. That Bar-B-Q's are allowed on any sites is questionable in my opinion, but to allow them where pitches are so tightly packed is very UNFRIENDLY. Our van was engulfed by smoke and fumes from the chap on the next pitch. It was very hot weather so we needed to keep all windows open. Why not have a Bar-B-Q area away from the pitches? Not impressed at all and very much doubt that we would ever be tempted back. This site is not a good advertisment for OUR club.

We asked for a quiet pitch and the wardens did their best to accommodate our request.

We asked for a quiet pitch and the wardens did their best to accommodate our request. Very helpful when we checked in and showed us to a lovely pitch telling us about the amenities of the site. Our child is older so we didn't use the playground but it did look very nice. The site is very well set out, plenty of space for our car and full size awning. Shower block was spotless and nice warm showers. The grounds are very well maintained. Only disappointment was I asked the lady on reception on Sunday morning if we could pay for a late check out as I wanted to go shopping in Milton Keynes and she said sorry but the site is fully booked so no availability to do that. My husband when speaking to another camper said they visit regularly and leave their caravan and car on site and check out later by moving it to another area. My husband asked if this was okay for us to do and thankfully we were told we could do so. When we returned to pick the car up at five o'clock the site had very little campers as most holiday makers had left. Maybe all the new arrivals were all going to check in after that time then. We will certainly be back, my son lives in Milton Keynes and we will stay every time we visit as it is so central for easy access to some wonderful places. Willen park is a lovely short walk away and great for a family day out. With boats, a nice pub, and lovely play area.
