Overview

  • A popular site for families

    Great site for families

Family site with theme park and the appeal of nearby Milton Keynes.

With a theme park right on its doorstep, Gulliver’s Milton Keynes Club campsite is particularly popular with families with younger children but is equally convenient for anyone wishing to explore the many shops and attractions of Milton Keynes itself.

The 90-pitch campsite is well laid out with both grass and hardstand pitches and has excellent, modern facilities including a parent and child room, and washing up and laundry areas. There’s a children’s play area and of course, the theme park a short walk from the site. The campsite also has ten camping pods for those wanting to experience ‘glamping’.

As well as a variety of rides, Gulliver’s Land features the Dinosaur Park and Gulliver’s Farm with the new Splashzone, shows, plus restaurants and shops, many of which are indoors, so bad weather won’t spoil the fun.

Away from the campsite, Willen Lakeside Park hosts watersports and is good for walking. Three miles from the campsite, Milton Keynes has an excellent range of shops, cinema complex and many places to eat and drink. The town also has parks, cycleways and footpaths, as well as an ice rink, wakeboard park and at the Xscape complex you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding, indoor rock-climbing, body-flying and bowling.

Bletchley Park, home of The Codebreakers and Woburn Abbey with its gardens, deer park and antiques centre are also close by.

When you are near to the campsite and at the roundabout, please follow the signs to Gullivers Splash Zone (do not go into Gullivers Land).

You can also stay in a Camping Den and our new Maxi Glamping Tents here.

We only booked for 2 nights , but extended our stay to 3 as we enjoyed our self so much. A great site that we booked last minute to break up our journey home from France back to N.Wales. We're so glad we did! Great , friendly staff who are always busy working to keep the site in tip top condition. We booked a hard standing elec pitch which was ideal for our folding camper & awning. Facilities on site were great.Nice & clean with plenty of hot water. A nice lounge area too for all local information. The play area is great for kids, & check out the lovely ancient Oak tree that is in the centre of the tent pitches , where we basked in the sun! Ideal for visiting the area either for the theme or water park right next door , or the nearby lakes & parks. Milton Keynes is only a walk through the pleasant park also, with its plenty of shops & restaurants. A great, clean, friendly, site. Well done Gullivers! We will definitely be back.

Neither my wife nor I have been camping in a tent since we were children (a looong time ago!) but we have family in Milton Keynes and are familiar with the area so took the opportunity to combine seeing them with testing out our tent (a Kampa Hayling 6) - along with our ten year old son and two small dogs. Frankly, half way through putting the tent up, I was ready to go home but we got there in the end and had a very nice time on the site. It was very busy, being the summer holidays, but we didn't feel too squeezed together and had a nice view of the trees. The all important facilities were clean though somewhat showing their age. Although not exactly the most glamorous of locations, we love Milton Keynes and spent an enjoyable afternoon at the reasonably priced Dinosaur Park which can be accessed directly from the campsite. Some other campers drove too fast around the site for our liking, given that children were playing, but otherwise everyone behaved themselves and we felt happy and content on our little square of grass. You can hear the distant rumble of road traffic at night but this didn't disturb us as much as the squeaky door on the toilet block! Campbell Park is right next door, as well as the canal, so both make for lovely walking. Overall, as good a first camping experience as we could have hoped for and we'll certainly be back.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Guided to pitch and told or shown where everything was.

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Guided to pitch and told or shown where everything was. Lovely site with large open grass and pitches divided by hedges every few pitches. Couple of gripes. We had hard standing with a brick hardcore material, that when someone went passed in the car it created a dust. also fell over my ankle a couple of times. So wasn't keen on this. Toilet facilities were clean but looked dated and the showers were tiny. You stepped out of shower and more or less had the door in your face, so very hard to dry your feet etc!. My shower got very hot to the point I had to get out while it still was running. Couldn't stop it as it was push button. Toilet lid kept shutting down on me as they were flimsy plastic seat and lid. But they were clean! People were remarking about the toilets and I was told it is in fact Gullivers who own the site and toilets and they deem this acceptable. Shame as for a caravan and club site this let it down. I have been to other sites and they are modern and have music playing. and just think for the money these should be upgraded. All in all toilets/showers aside, don't be put off as it is a lovely site with access to Gullivers, miles and miles of canal, parks and pools with loads to do!
