Quiet and peaceful, what more could you ask for? We booked this site for it's super serviced pitches. Each of their 7 spots have it's own electric, water and waste water point. As previously mentioned their definition of hardstanding isn't quite what we were expecting. It was indeed hardstanding, but if you are expecting a slab of concret, you will be disappointed, it is more like hardcore rubble than a hardstanding. However these sites are very large! Plenty of space to have your van either way. The grass is kept exceptionally well by their onsite OAP as he described himself. The owners run a local farm shop so you are very much left to your own devices, just pop your pennies through the door in an envelope and that's it. Although the lovely Grandad onsite came over when we arried for a chat and said if we had any problems, just knock on the front door. Out of the 7 hardstanding sites, 1 is currently occupied for 28 days at a time, and then another had a builder working in the area who had also been there for a couple of weeks, but on our 2nd night, there was just us and the long term motorhome. There were no facilities onsite, it is all very basic, but there are bins and a chemical disposal point, although the CDP could do with some work, it's certainly not the best we have seen. During our stay it was slightly blowy, however due to the self allocation, you can always chose a pitch near the hedge. There is a road that runs at the top of the site, but we didn't really notice much traffic, even during the weekend. All in all a lovely site, well kept and very peaceful. A site that we will most certainly visit again!

Peaceful spot Each pitch is large, has it's own water supply, hook up and waste water point. It was very good value for money and a lovely peaceful spot, on a hill overlooking rural Bedfordshire.

Choose this site because of the hard standings, each pitch also has own electric and water connection. Great views, some pitches by the trees and more sheltered, some on the brow of the hill, which is great for the views, not so good if you catch a hail storm with gale force winds like we did (Scary). Well spaced out and tidy. They have a local Farm shop down the road selling locally produced sausages.
