Country castles

Many of the pitches on this site offer stunning views down into the Firth of Clyde, with all camping units accepted. There’s a modern facilities block, motorhome service point, and designated dog walk for your convenience. A short stroll from the site will take you inside the relaxing and green surroundings of Culzean Country Park, while you will also be camping in a prime position to visit Culzean Castle itself.

Culture and cuisine

This area is blessed with beautiful beaches and also attractive landmarks that will appeal to photographers such as Turnberry Lighthouse. To the north of the site, the harbour town of Ayr is home to a lighthouse of its own and also the imposing ruins of Greenan Castle. One of the things Ayr is most famous for is a wealth of excellent seafood restaurants serving the catches of the day. The town also has several interesting cultural attractions including Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.

It doesn’t get much better than camping by castles on the coast. Don’t miss your chance to do just that – book your pitch today.
