    Overview

    RhosyGallt is situated in a quiet and beautiful part of Montgomeryshire ideally located to explore the Mid Wales and an hour’s drive away from the coast. From the campsite, walk down to the river, where there are several rock pools ideal for fishing (bring your own rod) throwing skimmers, have a picnic or just to sit, relax and enjoy the tranquility, wildlife and views. (Please be aware of the dangers here and supervise children at all times). This is also a great place to walk your dog, but please keep your dog on a lead. There is an abundance of public footpaths and quiet country lanes ideal for walking or cycling. In the neighbouring village there is “Cwpan Pinc” - a village shop and vintage tea room offering homemade breakfasts, lunches, teas, snacks, takeaways and essential goods.”

    This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
