This was a lively campsite as you'd expect of this popular location. We enjoyed ourselves and did the ring of kerry in 2 halves. This wasn't anywhere near as busy as we'd been led to believe.
The site has all you'd need. The showers were unusual inthat they are inividual cubicles you enter straight from outside. The one thing we personally dislike is having to pay extra for coin operated showers but it was ok although placing the coin box outside was slightly annoying.
The hardstandings are concrete with a drain point and arranged on the diagonal so although some appear quite close they don't feel so close. There is space foe an awning on grass next to each pitch. We stayed in June which was during the Irish school holidays but the site wasn't to busy. Had we known the site before hand I think
I would have preferred the grass pitches at the other side of the toilet blocks.
We would return and it really was a great location.
