Excellent pitches in an outstanding seafront location

A site with the best of all worlds. Ideal for families or for couples who like a well run and simple site, with great scenery and an historic and lively city nearby, Salthill offers smart new hardstandings and also a few grass pitches, right on the shores of Galway Bay. The town centre of Salthill, Galway City's seaside suburb, is on the doorstep, while Galway City centre is only two and a half miles away, and Connemara is easily reachable within a short and beautiful drive. Fast growing Galway City is a vibrant centre of Irish culture and history, with its annual arts festival in July, the Claddagh old quarter, and the Spanish Arch (the former regular moorings of the Spanish Armada). The phenomenal towering Cliffs of Moher and the famous rolling hills and limestone pavements of the Burren in County Clare, plus renowned Connemara's stunning lakes and mountains, lovely Kylemore Abbey and gardens, and Westport House with its play and adventure park, are all accessible for days out. In 2014 Ireland's spectacular west coast will be entirely linked up into the world's longest defined coastal driving route, the Wild Atlantic Way.
