One of our Club members’ best loved sites
And no wonder, with the George family’s welcome, the lovingly tended grounds and a peaceful location in easy reach of Disneyland® Paris, Parc Astérix and Paris itself. Medieval Provins is well worth a visit, with great re-enactments of battles of the Middle Ages, while the châteaux of Vaux-le-Vicomte, Fontainebleau and Versailles are among France’s finest. If all that isn’t enough excitement, a superb big cats safari park is only five minutes drive away.
- Countryside setting, with easy access to Paris and Disneyland® Paris, five miles from RER station to Paris Gare de l’Est (journey time about 35 minutes) and Versailles
- Disneyland® Paris ten miles (access to the camp site is open even after the night-time Disney parade), Vaux-le-Vicomte 17 miles, Provins 25 miles, Fontainebleau 32 miles, Parc Astérix 44 miles
- High season – still a quiet site; open sports tournaments sometimes arranged by campers from permanent units on site; Jazz / other live music early evening on most Saturdays
- Low season – popular for short breaks and longer stays alike, with a tranquil and homely atmosphere
- Owned and run by the George family, English spoken
- 1.7-31.8 minimum stay 2 nights, maximum stay 12 nights
- BBQs permitted
- Dogs welcome

In summer a small shop by gate. Some very basic but very nice food served cooked on a large mobile kitchen - chicken pizza chips etc.
The nearest baker is a 5 min drive - we went there each day for fresh bread and a selection of nice cakes.
Disney is a very easy drive away (you are only 8-10 mins further on from Davy crocket ranch which you pass on the way.
We like the site, we like the owner and we would stay here again BUT there are two things that niggle me.
The first is the frequent tripping out of the power, the breaker inside the supply units cannot cope with van lights/charger and or hairdryer,or electric ring on hob. It was a pain for us and the 6 families around us found it an irritation, that said if you were prepared for it or plan your useage ie whats on it is not a problem but we did find it an irritation as it went 9 times in two days. (we used up the 4 sockets on the tower 3 times in all),
Power is reverse polarity so read the clubs what to do guide on this site.
These are my least favourite part of this site. The heads don't adjust for angle, the temperature is not variable and in april too cold and the floors are soaked as the jet makes the entire cubical wet. As there are no squeegees provided you also have to shower standing in whatever was left from the last user, grass, hair or mud. Due to the lack of squeegees you can't get the floor clear when you leave either so for me this is a bad point - I am bringing my own squeegee next time and I'll have a floor mat to put down when I dry off too.
This may seem petty but everybody I met had the same expectation prior to visit re the floors and the lack of adjustable temp is a problem in the early season when the outside temp is only a few degrees.

I cannot rate this site too highly. This was our second visit to the site and although it was primarily as a base to visit Disneyland there is much more to the site than this. It is an excellent location for trips to Paris, Fontainebleau, Provins and other attractions in the region. The pitches are the largest I have encountered and are bounded by hedges offering seclusion and privacy. Although the site does not have an on site shop the visiting bread van provides essential supplies and there is a massive Auchan at the Val d'Europe not too far away. What makes the site so attractive is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They go out of their way to provide assistance. They even arranged the visit to the vet for us to facilitate our return to the UK with our dog. We will be arranging our next trip to France soon and will make sure it includes a visit to this site once again.

Site had been recommended to us & we were not disappointed. Stayed here due to proximity to Euro Disney but would go again as its such a nice site! It is a large site with lots of facilities but due to the clever layout & lots of hedges you aren't really aware of it. We had a full service pitch & were close to a toilet block. Didn't have to queue so there must have been adequate showers etc. Common French set up of no seat, toilet roll was by entrance rather than in cubicles (which may guests failed to see, I knew to look having read it in a review on another website!) no soap provided either. Bread van in the morning & takeaway on site was good. Reception really helpful. Spent one day at Euro Disney which is a short drive away & another day we took the train into Paris - reception told us where to park & even the best value type of ticket to buy! Great site - would happily revisit!

We visited this site as a stopping point for visiting Disneyland for 2 nights. It's only a short drive, 20 mins at the most from the site to Disneyland. The facilities were great, the girls loved the play park, lots to do. All toilet & showers were clean and well maintained. There was a pool but we never had time to visit it but it looked good. I would recommend the site while visiting Disneyland, although if you have a motorhome, you are able to stay at the Disneyland aire overnight which we hadn't realised in with the price of the car park charge.
