This site in high season is going to be busy, and it was. If you want a quiet, secluded spot then maybe it's not for you. If, however, you are prepared to put up with a lot of young families and you still have a hankering for a bit of fun yourself then you may like it. We did and we are well past the retirement age.
The facilities are really good with the emphasis on fun. Great pools and slides and bars. They really try hard to get you in the holiday spirit and the 'happy half hour' is really good fun with most drinks at 2 for 1. My only complaint was that even though the capacity was stretched they still signed in day visitors which made it a bit too busy.
They have a well-stocked shop with fresh (made on the premises) bakery products and a good take away. There is also a restaurant that provides a good a varied menu equal to many restaurants in the town with a pleasant atmosphere. Really good food.
The wash rooms were excellent. Clean and loads of them even in the busy season. The pitches are amongst trees.
I think we were a little unlucky in that it was extremely hard to manoeuvre into our space. Very tight and if I hadn't have had a mover fitted then I am not sure how I would have got in. Once in it was great, but I did have a slight disagreement with a tree. Not all pitches are like that and some looked very straight forward. I was a little surprised we were given the one we got as the had full details of our rig.
The reception staff weren't over the top with information about the site on arrival and we had to find out most things by trial and error. Any problems were soon fixed, such as the electric hook up. I had the wrong type, but they sorted it out without a problem. I wish I had been made aware of this before I arrived. I will know next time.
The location is in a great part of France with really loads to do and see if you want to explore beyond the camp site boundaries.

What the club site does not tell you is what 'entertainment' means.
In this case, the camp site have an outdoor stage near the bar, equipped with an extremely powerful amplification system. They have a programme of very loud 'music' from 9pm till 11pm every night. This is clearly audible across the whole camp site. Not much chance of peace till it finishes.
Not to everyone's taste I suspect!
