Le Moulin de Paulhiac

from £15.35 to £39.80 Per unit

Overview

Excellent, welcoming rural location for seeing the châteaux and prehistoric sites of the Dordogne.

The very friendly owners are keen to welcome you to this gem of a site in the heart of the Dordogne. The covered pool is a bonus in low season, children love the waterslides and looking for fish from the little river beach, and the restaurant gets highly positive feedback from campers. High quality traditional camping at its best and its most welcoming, in a gorgeous region that remains one of France's perennial favourites.

This review is for Le Moulin de Paulhiac

This site is in the ceou valley, which is south of the river dordogne and a out 15 mins from the village of Domme. The ceou valley has a designated cycle route along it, which is fantastic for those who want to ditch the car! Daglan is a 15 min cycle, where there is a boulangerie, butcher etc, the dordogne at Castelnaud is only 30 mins cycle away, so you can swim in the river or visit the chateau. As for the site, its got a great pool complex for families, with adult and fun pools. There is a small shop and a small park. The bar and restaurant are also very good. The owners could not help us enough and they really were fantastic hosts, they spoke a little English but were more than happy to help us with our ropey french. We will definitely go back.
