We use this site every year, sometimes for a week, sometimes, for a short stay, the showers are a little dated, but are perfectly adequate, snack bar & restaurant are both good. Pool is ok also.

Stayed here again on our return trip, huge pitch, flat, screened and own water/drainage and electric. Considering we were just one night stay the staff were brilliant (again). Top quality location on the outskirts of small town and 20 mins from car ferry. What could be better for a good start or finish to our French adventures. Definitely using again.

This review is for La Bien Assise

We stayed at La Bien Assise as a sort of extended stop over after coming through The Tunnel and before travelling north to Belgium. The site is very pretty with plenty of trees, shrubs and birds. It is a large site with a combination of statics, ready tents, tourers and tents, but despite its size feels spacious and pleasant to walk around. The pitches are huge and there seemed to be many that were empty even at the end of July. We really enjoyed using the pool and making use of the bar and take away. The shower, toilet and washing facilities were fine - a little dated maybe but water always hot and we never had to queue. We took a short walk into Guines on the Sunday when most things are shut apart from the La Tour de l'Horloge Museum. We didn't go in the museum but it looks intriguing and something to do with the family on a rainy day. Overall we were really impressed with this site and our only criticism would be that the pool is too small for the size of the site so that when the weather is good it becomes very crowded. We would definitely return.

Stayed for one night on our return from south coast, just the job for early ferry back to blighty! As a member of the Castel chain the site was of a very high standard with excellent facilities.Clearly many people were spending their holiday here and it had everything you could wish for in a typical french site.We made use of the pool, shop and take away and very pleased with all. We got to ferry port in less than 20 mins(very early in the day). High quality site and easy to get to.
