A popular, active site, excellent for families
Great for... a family holiday on a resort-style site, with outdoor pools, covered pool, waterslide, lots of play, great activities and a special deal for the under-10s (see site description). The Bigouden country, Brittany’s westernmost region, includes the wild surf of Pointe de la Torche, a real surfers’ paradise. And don’t miss Finistère’s lovely ‘county town’ of Quimper, plus the fantastic beaches and small fishing towns – all on your doorstep.
Stewards will be Chris and Gill Steel. Rally pitches all with electricity, mostly together and near to main facilities. A nice, pretty, family friendly site in a great location with a great pool complex, and easy to get to. However, some pitches are very awkward to access and they're all very close to one another, some with less than desirable locations within the site, e.g. outside the loos and next to a main walkway. The water pressure was so low in the camp area it took between 10 & 20 minutes to fill our barrel. The taps are push button too but we rigged up a strap with a ratchet to keep it pressed while we did something else. Also, there was nowhere (officially) to dispose of grey water, except the chemical waste (required lifting) or the car park on the other side of the site, so it loses points on facilities, particularly for the campers.
