We had an enjoyable time at the site, we found the pool complex to be very clean and lots of fun for our younger children. The toilet and shower facilities are immaculate and very impressive. Unfortunately, the above are the only good points about the site. The bad points are far too many to recommend this site. They include, turning up to book in at midday, only to find that reception closes for two hours in the afternoon (completely unacceptable for peak season especially considering the campsite is five stars). The majority of pitches are completely covered by trees and therefore you may find yourself (like we did) in shade, and or cold, for the entire duration of your holiday. A lot of the pitches also have well established trees within the pitch, effectively halving the size of your pitch at best, or possibly making pitching impossible. There is also only one toilet block and, although impressive, is some distance from a lot of the pitches. Overall, the campsite is very impressive looking and the cleanliness is spot on. For a short break early/late in the season or as a stop off I could see the appeal. But if you want to relax and enjoy the sun on your pitch look elsewhere.

The campsite is in a beautiful location close to the seaside town of St Cast le Guildo and we spent many happy hours here and along the coastline. However, the site itself was a busy, noisy and Butlins type experience. We arrived to find ourselves on a small pitch with a tree in the middle of it so we were unsure how to pitch our caravan and awning, even though we had booked for an awning. My husband went to request a different pitch and was shouted at by a manager who was extremely rude. We ended up then squeezed into a small pitch underneath a large tree which made our van dark and damp and meant we never saw any sunshine on the pitch in spite of the largely good weather. The wifi was extremely expensive here and we had endless problems with low signals etc Most of the pitches were cramped and although the facilities were good, it was spoilt for us by the crowded facilities and noise and a very small pitch. We would definitely return to the area but not to this site. It is over expensive and over crowded.
