In a peaceful coastal village setting, half a mile from a sandy beach
This friendly, very well-kept and relaxing little site is much appreciated by members for its quiet, family atmosphere, attractive location and proximity to the superb beaches and coves of Brittany's lovely north coast. Add in the very helpful Anglo-French owners and it makes for an ideal site for any time of the season, both for first-timers and returners alike.
Owned and run by Tim and Pierrette Lee and family, English spoken.
Etables-sur-Mer centre half a mile, St. Quay-Portrieux two miles, seasonal ferries to Ile de Bréhat three miles, St. Malo 57 miles, Roscoff 67 miles.

A quiet base for a very attractive, rural coastal area, most site facilities open.

Stayed for 2 nights before moving on to W Coast. We were there early in the season so the site was only partly opened up, there are about 8 pitches within a walled garden which was lovely, and close to the washblocks. Shower & toilet facilities are OK but showing their age - could do with upgrading. Motorhomers be aware that there aren't any local shops so buy food en route or you'll have to drive out to supermarkets. Early in the season there aren't any bread deliveries to site; the patisserie & (small) grocer's shop in Etables are about 20 min walk from site. The beach is also a significant walk away from the site.
Pleasant stay, but we'd had enough after 2 days.

This was our first time aboard with our camper-van and I have to say I was a little nervous. I believe we picked the best site. The site is 600m from the beach which has a couple of lovely restaurants next to it. Only a 5 minute walk into the small but beautiful village. Lots of things to see and do all within an hour of the site. The site is cleaner and well kept. We had an issue with our camper-van on the last day and Tim the owner could not have been more helpful with translating when the breakdown arrived.
I would recommend this site to anyone and hopefully we will be back one day.
