we stayed here for four nights during a motorhome tour of Austria using our cycles for local visiting. The site reception doubles as the hotel reception and is first class in its presentation! The campsite is quite large and there are some statics onsite but this did not spoil the ambience. There is an outdoor swimming pool and the usual games and television rooms as well as cycle hire and sport pitches by the lake. But it is the toilet and shower facilities that makes this site stand out from the rest, simply superb. The grey water disposal point is worth a visit just to marvel at the thought that has gone in to designing such an immaculate facility.
The private lake is set apart from the site, a stroll of about 500 yds, but what a superb amenity with loungers provided amongst the trees, diving boards for the energetic or just
gentle swimming. Picnic tables are also provided if you don't fancy going back to your unit.
The site itself is well situated for cycling through a nature reserve to the tourist town of Zell am See in its spectacular setting on the lake, or the other direction to a huge supermarket and further on along a dedicated cycle path to the town of
Kaprun which is a ski resort mainly.
