With exceptional sites, beautiful locations and invaluable expertise, the Club makes the outdoors feel incredible for everyone.

Proud of our heritage and protective of the future, we love nothing more than bringing our members closer to nature and each other, to enhance their wellbeing and create a lifetime of memorable moments.

For our members, not for profit

As a non-profit membership organisation, every penny spent with us is reinvested back into the sites and services we provide. It means we’re free to inspire more people to join us and make camping ever more accessible and enjoyable, for first timers and old handers alike.

From coast to country

Our network of Club Sites stretches from the Cornish coast to the Scottish Highlands. It will always be the heart of our Club and offers consistently lovely camping wherever you go. You don’t need to be a member to stay, but there are great benefits to joining, like exclusive access to over 1,200 smaller, Certificated Sites, tucked away in spots from the quiet to the quite spectacular.

We started in 1901 as a group of friends camping together to enjoy the tranquillity of nature and the company of each other. More than 120 years later, and now with over 700,000 members, our reason for being remains exactly the same.

Below you'll find details of the staff directors and their responsibilities.

Sabina Voysey

Director General

Sabina joined the Club in 2002 and was appointed Director General in 2019. She is responsible for all aspects of the Club’s activities, which includes serving as Secretary to National Council, the Executive Committee and Management Committee.

Darren Whittington

Deputy Director General

Darren is responsible for all of the Club’s operations, encompassing Club Sites, Membership and the Service Centre. He joined the Club in 2007 and is the Deputy Director General, additionally he serves as Secretary to the Administration Committee, Operations Committee, and the National Youth Committee. Darren is also currently supporting the Marketing and Communications Team. Darren is also currently supporting the Marketing and Communications Team.

Geoff Coupe

Director of Commercial Insight

Geoff is responsible for the Club's commercial insight team. Driving commercial decision making, ensuring the Club is maximising value from its data and the pricing strategy of all Club products. The management of strategic partnerships such as overseas and core member services also sit within Geoff’s remit. Geoff has been with the Club since 2013 and in this role since 2022.

Paul Gillings

Director of Property & Development

Paul joined the organisation in August 2023. In the role of Property and Development Director, Paul is responsible for the maintenance of and investments into the Club Sites. The role is to maintain the high standards of existing Club facilities and to ensure that all potential investments represent value for money, and meet the core needs of the Club members. Paul is Secretary to the Property and Development Committee.

Emma Teviotdale

Director of Finance, Technology and People

Emma joined the Club in February 2023. In her role as Director of Finance, Technology and People she is responsible for the Club’s finance and ensuring financial resources are being used effectively as well as putting in place financial plans and strategies to ensure the long term final sustainability of the Club. Emma leads on Technology and Data Protection ensuring our systems are secure and stable. Within her People role, Emma looks after all the Club’s HR functions, including Recruitment, Staff Welfare and training.
